  • Jesus is the Son of Man who has the authority to forgive sins and heal the sick

The Takeaways

  • The Jesus of the story is the same Jesus we encounter today.
  • Standing in the crowd around Jesus is not the same as being a disciple of Jesus.

Some Reflections on Radical Faith…

  1. Radical faith is persistent in the face of obstacles and opposition.
  2. Radical faith brings people to Jesus.
  3. Radical faith is active trust that Jesus is sufficient for one’s deepest needs.
