Love is the Answer

LOVE IS THE ANSWER

A Sincere Interaction:

Mark 12:28-34, Deuteronomy 6:4-9, Leviticus 19:9-18, 1 Samuel 15:22

• The sense of the question is about which command supersedes everything and is a necessary duty for all of humankind.  

• Jesus’ answer:
  1. God is the one and only
  2. Love God with everything aspect of human life.
  3. Love your neighbor as yourself.

Mandatory Love:

John 14:15, 21, 23-24, John 15:9-17, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, 1 John 4:7-21

• Love is not optional, and it looks different than the world.
• My love for God is demonstrated in my obedience to his commands.
• We love people because God loved us first.
