• The Holy Spirit comes as the powerful presence of God to a community that was actively waiting.

Peter Addresses the Crowd:

Acts 2:14-36

• The Holy Spirit is available to everyone who follows Jesus.
• The Holy Spirit came because Jesus is alive and is reigning as Israel’s King and the world’s true Lord.

People Respond to the Gospel:

Acts 2:37-41

What must we do?

1. Turn to Jesus and call on him for salvation!
2. Ask for the Holy Spirit.
3. Be ready for wind and fire, mixed reactions, and radical transformation.
