• Friendship with God involves a dedication to living life the way that he has designed it to be lived.

Two Sets of Desires: 

James 4:1-10

• Pay attention to your desires.
  • Self-centered desires will always cause conflict
• Which kingdom are you standing in?
  • The enemy’s way of doing life will always be incompatible with the kingdom of God
  • God wants us to be whole-heartedly in his kingdom
• Submission involves moving toward God, and agreement with him.
  • Stop borrowing the tools of the enemy, and living life according to the devil’s rules
