Genesis 3:1-24

The Fall (v. 1-7)

Big Idea: Humanity was designed to depend on God;
we were never intended for independence.

The Fallout (v. 8-24)

1. The fall immediately results in conflict in every relationship in the story.
2. Adam and Eve both experience conflict in their original, God-given design.
3. Even in the fall, God still expresses goodness and mercy to Adam and Eve.

Taking it Home

• For the obedience people: in prayer, ask God to give you something you can obey each day. Take notes on it at the end of the day.
• For the relationship people: in prayer, ask God to make you aware of his presence in your life. Take notes on it at the end of the day.
