- Jesus isn’t interested in playing their games, but neither is he seeking to escape his own death.
The Lesson:
Romans 13:1-10, John 19:12-15
- The religious leaders don’t need an answer to their question, they need to clearly see their own hearts.
Taking it Home:
- Jesus is less interested in your politics than he is in your
spiritual growth. - God is building a kingdom of people in his likeness, inscribed with his name.
Question to wrestle with:
- What am I still holding onto that God has asked me to give to him?
